Moving right along

Now that the majority of the site rebuild has been completed, I’ve had some time to go through and make some new additions to various pages. You may notice that some owners now have a mugshot image next to their contact details, thats just for a bit of fun and so we all have a bit more of an idea who we’re talking to. If you have an pic of yourself that you’d like to add then just email it to and I’ll put it up for the world to see. Feel free to make it wacky or funny too, nobody said it had to be serious!

The gallery has continued to grow with the addition of the “Overload!” section, which I’ll let you explore yourself rather than explain it here. In the near future I’m planning on redesigning the new gallery to fit in with the style of the site a bit better, at the moment it looks like a beaten red headed stepchild.

As for whats happening at the moment, well I’m working on getting the guides section back up and running again, which means updating all the articles from the old site to work with the new one. Once that is done I can start adding a few new guides that I’ve been wanting to write for a while. Again, if you’ve got something to contribute, just mail it in and I’ll post it.

As part of this work, both the 550 and 800 workshop manuals will be scanned and posted, although it may take some time given that each of them is about 300 pages. 🙁 But they’ll get there.

A few bugs have popped up in the new site, the largest of which is that the image galleries that would normally be at the bottom of each owner’s page aren’t displaying. That does suck pretty badly, but I’m sure a solution will be found shortly and the bugs will be squashed. In the meantime I’m going to try and stick all of those images into the main gallery.

Oh, and theres more new stuff in the media section. Check it out. 🙂

Thats about it for now. Comments? Suggestions? Check the forum or drop me an email.

(Oh, and if you don’t get the relevence of the image on the left, then watch more Muppets!)

Cheers all!
